Ugh!
Oh my gawd, my neighbors are cooking something that smells suspiciously like dead pig--consequently the vents we share through our bathrooms are spouting this horrid stench of baloney.

In other news, I went to work an hour early today because after four days off I figured my kids' section would be a wreck, and I didn't want anyone to see it like that on the one-day sale so I cleaned it up somewhat before the store opened. During the time before the store opened I got to see the craziness that goes on with the cashiers; since I'm usually scheduled at 9 (opening) instead of 8 like they are, I don't get to see this silliness usually.
Today's involved Kelly getting on the intercom and singing "Yakko's World" in its entirety.
What are the odds that THREE people at one workplace (the third being manager Beth) would know all the words to "Yakko's World"? How small is the planet that that many Animaniacs freaks would be employed under one roof?
I guess we have some other unusual populations too. We have three vegetarians. We have I think four Pagans--three of them are management! (Guess which one isn't? You guessed it: Verlissa the Hun. She's a churchgoing Christian. Surprise.) Many of us are nerds and sci-fi/fantasy geeks. I don't know what else.
Ooh, and today I heard the new guy, Cody, singing in the café. He has a lovely voice and likes musicals, and reportedly announced to another co-worker that he is a thespian. I think I might just have to make myself a new friend and start singing some duets.
