the coming of the fashion serfs
I decree that every single one of you should come this weekend, Friday and Saturday, October 3rd and 4th, and rock your socks off at the Rambis in Johnson City at the Freak Fest!!! Why, you ask? Because it's the debut of the soon-to-be legendary Fashion Serfs!!! Featuring former members of Jesus On Vinyl, Moderate Gene, and the Swampwater Orchestra!!! (in other words, it's BJ and myself.)
This is the first-ever "Freak Fest" being held by the Rambis, a new club here in Johnson City- there are 19 bands playing- 10 on Friday, 9 on Saturday! The cost= a paltry $8 a day- or $15 for both days if you wanna save a buck. However, BJ has made the offer that if anyone dresses in all purple they can be part of the Fashion Serfs and get in free! I'm guessing a bottle of Rit dye only costs a couple of bucks, people. And we'll have some funky fresh beats for all the purply people to shimmy to. here's the tenative schedule so you can be sure not to miss this once in a lifetime opportunity!
