I wasn't too into Esther either. Buuuut I wasn't that into Rebekah the first time she showed up on our screens either so I'm content to wait for the writers to flesh her out a bit more before I make a complete snap judgement.

on that note i can't see stefan/elena happening again for a while either. that porch scene (WHY DO ALL ELENA'S ROMANTIC ENTANGLEMENTS TAKE PLACE ON HER PORCH) was awesome and my god stefan just stop whining and kiss her or something idk but at the same time their relationship has been pretty royally fucked, and idk how it would ever work now. STILL SHIP IT.

lmao, perfect summation of all my feelings on this. SO HOT JUST MAKE OUT ALREADY. EXCEPT NOT BECAUSE YOUR RELATIONSHIP IS DUST. idk I am conflicted.

matt doesn't have health insurance. matt doesn't have health insurance. DEAR MATT, YOU LIVE IN MYSTIC FALLS. THIS IS ONE OF THOSE THINGS YOU NEED.

lol this was so tragic but so hysterical. I want a spin-off show about how sad Matt's life is.

I spent the whole episode wishing Katherine would show up. I miss her so much and I just know when she comes back there's gonna be a whole wave of perfectly crafted trouble following behind her.

I'm very sad that Esther's trying to kill her kids. I was hoping that final scene with her and Finn would reveal that she was binding them together to make them all unkillable like Klaus.

Matt doesn't have health insurance. I think the Grill probably goes through so many employees that they can't afford it. And really, after what happened to Caroline, I doubt Matt wants to risk some vampire healing. Especially since, as it stands now, the first girl in line to date undead!Matt would be Rebekah.
