Moving sucks.

So, we finished moving, or moved everything rather, on Saturday, which definetely wasn't fun. Had to wake up at 8:30am, after falling asleep a little before 4am. Then dad was complaining most of the time, which was really getting on my nerves, and after finishing moving everything, I had to wait at in a now mostly empty house, while they moved stuff to my aunt's house. It was boring, and kinda depressing seeing all my stuff moved, and having to move. The cat had the worst time I think, he had to sit on my lap in my uncle's truck and was totally freaked out. He was even panting like a dog when we stopped!! I didn't even know cats did that, it kinda scared me actually. Then when we got there, he ran off and hid under our neighbor's car for most of the day. We're both getting used to it though, slowly, but surely. Sadly, we had to leave the stray cat behind... I hope she finds someone else who can feed her, and maybe take her in... Later since we were hungry anyways, we went to Auntie Esther's for bbq, which kinda got my mind off the move, plus Amanda showed up. Food was kinda bland though. Well anyways, I don't live downtown anymore, sadly, I live on the East Side, which takes too long to get places from there... Blah.

Work is ok I guess, pretty busy still. Glad to be making money, but not enjoying my job. I might quit before school starts again, or look for another job, something thats a little closer now.

Karaoke was ok last night... Until I sprained my ankle, for the first time. Since it was kinda crowded, we had to sit kinda upstairs, and those stairs need to be a little longer or something. When they finally called my name to sing, I was going down the stairs, and I guess I missed the last step or something, because I twisted my ankle, and like fell to my knees, then had to limp to the stage. I had to hold the microphone stand while I sang, so I wouldn't fall over or anything. I don't think anyone really saw, except one of my karaoke friends, but luckily I didn't trip when I got off the stage because that would've been waaayyy worse. One of our friends was nice enough to get me some ice from the bartender, but it still swelled up. I feel like a gimp, but the only good thing was that I got to miss work today. Actually, I guess thats not good because I'll get paid less >_< Oh well.
