(no subject)
Finally got my first paycheck on Saturday, after 2 days of waiting, and being flaked on by my boss. I was supposed to get it on Thursday originally, but I didn't have the hours that worked with me (They didn't show me how to clock in until this past Thursday in fact), so had to call her back that day after I got home. I did that and she said she'd bring my check on Friday, but before I got off that day she told that she'd forgotten it, and told me to come back later that night and she'd be there with my check. I get there that night around the time she said to come, and shes' not there, so a girl who works there at night called our boss for me, and said her husband would be there soon. So, I said ok I'll be back, and went to wait in the car for a little while, then go back in and hes' not there. The same girl calls them for me again, and the owner (my boss's husband) says something like "Oh, our computers' not working, and I'm having back pains... I'll bring it there in the morning" -_-;; They don't even use computers... Then I had to wait to get my check until yesterday night finally(Saturday), and they didn't even write my last name on it... Blah. All that for a measly $162.10 ... Better than nothing, but still annoying and inconsiderate. AND I still haven't filled out my W-2s/tax papers... Rawr. My boss is kind of an airhead. ANYways... Work is alright I guess. Still not enjoying it, and the new kid they hired a slightly annoying, dunno why. I don't really wanna work there much longer. Only been 3 weeks, but I wanna find something better. Oh, and they almost hired my brother too, lol. I guess they still could hire him, though I dunno how it would be to work with him.
When I finally got my check yesterday I've mostly bought manga so far, and a Amy Brown pillowcase that my mom talked me into buying... (Was only $10 luckily). I've spent $76 so far @_@ And plus I owed Jesse $10 for paying for the Audioslave cd I wanted, so now I have like $68 left, and I don't really wanna spend it all... I do want a video game though, so I might shell out $30 or something, maybe. I kinda wish I'd made more money, I want a digital camera too.
4th of July was a little boring, we got out early though, and went to this small festival in Morgan Hill to see mom's friend's band play. They were pretty good from what I saw, they played modern rock which I liked. Billy Idol too =D (Who played here on Friday, but I missed it >_<). Then we went to karaoke as usual, but it was kinda empty, which means I got to do more songs actually. And that was basically it... Not that exciting.
