Loving my new cookbook

Jun 22, 2009 13:50

I decided to buy a new cookbook with the start of the farm share so I am not scrabling to figure out how to use all the vegetables each week.   I got it on Friday night and so far I have made two dishes inspired by (cause we all know I can't follow a recipe)  It is called:

Serving Up the Harvest - Celebrating the Goodness of Fresh Vegetables.   by Andrea Chesman

For each veggie the have a brief history, how to plant (in case you are doing your own garden)  and kitchen notes followed by recipes  with that veggie  The only veggie I have found to be missing is Kolhrabi.... I seem to be still looking for a good use of this veggie other than slice and eat raw in salads or with dressing
