Mags - Friday, I'll be at Pre-Reg from 11am to 3pm and then on call til 1 am.. Wednesday - nearly all day..with some relief on Thursday.. BUT - WE - WILL - Spend - Some Sitdown - Time together..

Makai did a checkup yesterday.. one of the pins was loose so they put him under and set it better with more epoxy and covered the tips of those dammed sharp pin ends. He's doing much better, clear eyes, purrs for me and he's been doing a little limp - walking about. Dr. says he's being a good patient and should be fine.
yes, I have reported but can't prove it was the same one.. there's at least a report and next time.. well let's hope there is no next time.
The kittens are now wicked little rascals, they love going out on the back patio and lords have a mercy when they get in the grass.. very Zooooommmm!! Nothing is sacred anymore, everything moves.. one way or another and some things will even start out just 1 and can be made to be quickly into a dozen or more.. (broken that is..) I think one of the best, cutest times so far was when they realized that they could make their tails move. They spent an hour just standing around in the livingroom and showing each other how to swish their tails.. fast and slow. It was a riot.. a precious riot.
Jake is back from a trip to CA to visit his girlfriend and help her Mom pick out tile for new floors. This was his recanting the trip to me, "Disneyland was disappointing.. most of the rides were closed for renovation for the anniversary, they stayed for about 4 hours, went back to the hotel and had a fight. The beginnings of a breakup bound to happen - saddens me because she really is a nice girl." Saddens me too, because she is and he is.
Talked to my Dad tonight because I heard they were supposed to have a storm.. 6-8 inches of snow where he is and 16 - 20 just the other side of the mountain. THAT's the reason I live here!! It's just beautiful out.. trees are budding, flowers are flowering, spring birds are singing, warm sunshine on your face, some scattered clouds, a little rain.. I love this time of year.. and in a week or two or three.. the air will be perfumed with citrus blossoms.
