Thursday 16th January 2014 was my 35th birthday - thanks everyone for your kind wishes sent. Anyhoo, Caroline Mathieson ended up working at home, after signal problems at WGC for local trains heading in both directions. Happy New Year! Our last day of the year was spent in Cambridge out for lunch, before going to see Gulliver's Travels. After seeing the movie, we returned home for a quiet one together. My snowed-in week, and #randomcoffeewednesday
Despite threats of snow, we only ever got a short spell of snow, the last of which washed away yesterday. A comprehensive Comres survey of 1000 office workers in the UK has unearthed unexpected findings about office life. One in three Brits wanted to hit a work colleague in the past year, one in three say they flirt with colleagues to ‘make the day pass quicker’ and over 40% admit to surfing the net instead of getting on with work.
