Life of the Suzy Recap - Summer & Autumn 2014
Well, it’s been busy indeed this little while. A lot is going on in planning behind the scenes right now. For the moment, I am going to concentrate on the happenings over the past Summer. I write this post for the benefit of future nostalgia and LJ-peeps, as a lot more in detail goes on at http://www.facebook.com/suzyscottdotcom. I’ve been recently wallowing in nostalgia again, so it gives me the idea of this post.
Caroline has mostly been fine, aside from issues caused by her new medication change. This was reduced and is about to be reverted back entirely. Otherwise, she’s fine.
I’m not too bad… been swimming quite a bit with e4q since she moved to a new place off Old Street this past Summer. Haven’t been for a bit with everything both sides, but it’s on the menu for the coming weeks.
Been attending the Friends Meeting House in WGC every Sunday, as often as I’ve had the health to do so! Early mornings have never really agreed with me, but this works I’ve found. I did think this summer I was solar-powered (joke!) on a few occasions, which might explain why I’ve found it easier.
Been here there and everywhere!
We had a holiday, split over two locations. We stayed in Salisbury to look after C’s ex’s cats, but this did mean we had the week to go out during some of the days. Cardiff, Bath, Cheddar, Wells, Yeovil were for starters! We then moved onto Richard’s place in Okehampton - he had been at me for a full fifteen years! We went to Penzance, Mousehole, Plymouth, Exeter, Tavistock, etc. A lot of places I’ve not been before, or had on the “to do” list.
Company news - aside from some quality and service issues with one printer, we had a very good day at the LOTS Autumn Transport Spectacular. We took the whole stall in the purple trolley suitcase!
Dundee United news - done well, I the semi-final of the league cup and third at the moment I think? Our season usually tips for the positive around now, but we’ve started so early!
