Okay, this one is a day late, as I just ran out of energy yesterday - you’ll find out why in a few posts. I remember hearing the tagline “more chocolate than a biscuit” on radio adverts for Bahlsen’s Choco Leibniz series of biscuits. It was a chance visit to a M&S in Stevenage that had something very similar, complete with the same tagline on the box! So, after wanting to do a Choc one of these, they went soft - so I’ve got the real thing in time for this week. It’s basically sweet cracker-style biscuit below, and an even larger and thicker slab of chocolate before - and these are 63% milk chocolate, hence much more than a tagline. The edges do get to your fingers… but then eat quickly, but slow enough to enjoy - does that make sense to anyone? Really nice, creamy chocolate, with some real notes of… well, chocolate and biscuit. I’m no foodie, but I know a good chocolate biscuit when I see one.
