It's certainly been a wild week - and I've been hoping for a resolution over the last week and a half now - long story which is subjustice so I won't say any more on it for now.
I can, however, share the good times I've had in the last week. Emotions, strength and energy has came and gone. Managed to get out on Saturday (C was tired after an afternoon out the day previous) and went to Cambridge, Bedford, Hitchin, Letchworth, and home to Royston. Got a lovely day for it - but not taking any snaps or anything this time. It was rather hot and bright, but also had a few things to do. Some were successful, some were not - but I did manage to find a few surprises, to counter-balance those I could not get. Good to get some time away from the desk!
We have also been working on our next round of books for the business, and we have a range planned. We also have a meeting with Essex County Council public transport team tomorrow morning... once that's done, and a few other bits too, we will announce this week. (We had to write the copy in time for a magazine deadline, but a few more bits are being discussed this week before we announce it - like the number of pages, price, and the results of our talks with ECC tomorrow). We know what they want, and they are open to other suggestions on how to go about it. Time will certainly tell - keep your fingers crossed everyone!
