(no subject)
today, a spanish kid stole my grilled cheese..
It was an aboslutely horrendous thing that happened..I ordered grilled cheese with the chinese lunch lady that doesn't speak english, and she sent it down to the row of lunches.. so I walked down to the end, and waited like 3 minutes until my grilled cheese was the next hot lunch to be served.. well- while I was waiting, I realized that the other idiot lunch man that;s like 90 years old, had put a white milk on my tray with the grilled cheese.. now i figured that, since he wouldn't just put a white milk up there for no reason, someone had told him to put it there-- on MY tray.. so when the cashier yelled, "who's gilled cheese?", I went up there to claim it, but I was too late.. It was already being claimed by a spanish kid.. He's like, "Can you put another milk up there?".. and he just took my grilled cheese and ran away..Now I'm assuming what happened is.. The old man put the white milk on MY tray, but was really supposed to put it on the OTHER GRILLED CHEESE, that was like 10 lunches down from mine..(which was the spanish kid's), b/c I saw ANOTHER grilled cheese coming down.. so instead of putting it on his, he put it on mine, making the kid think that it was HIS grilled cheese.. even though mine was like 10 lunches ahead of his.. so either he thought it was his b./c the milk was there and didn;t realize, or just was happy and took advantage, b/c he was getting served first because of the mistake.. i don't know.
I didn;t realize what happened at the time, so as HIS original grilled cheese came down the line, I wasn;t gonna take it.. cuz I thought it might have been someone ELSE's.. I wasn;t sure.. so I wasn;t about to take that grilled cheese, and then get yelled at.. so I just settled and got turkey on rye bread? it was ok, but I was looking forward to the grilled cheese..
I could have gotten back on the line to get another grilled cheese, but it was really long.. And I could have told the lady "my grilled cheese was stolen.. Can you just get another one really quick and give it to me?".. BUt i didn;t feel like doing that.. so the turkey was the only option..
But I will always know that the grilled cheese he took was mine... and he's an idiot either way for taking it... b/c he should have known it wasn;t his.. or he should have known not to take it.. and the old guy is stupid b/c he put the milk on the wrong tray.. who eats white milk with grilled cheese anyway??
A horrible lunch experience... I was heartbroken and annoyed that the grilled cheese was stolen.
