The lyrics “understand I’m accident prone” are for Robin and how every orginazation she’s been in has fallen leaving her as the only survivor. Robin thinks that even the strawhats will eventually find her to be a burden and leave her alone: “but when you leave me I’ll be wishing I was there.”

I imagine Robin and Sanji as being a somewhat insomniac couple- Robin being up reading a book alone in the kitchen and then Sanji joining her. He would make her some coffee and keep her company. They’d talk over cigarettes and coffee.

This song is perfect for Robin and Sanji in water7. When Robin is saying goodbye to Sanji and saying she’ll leave the crew he ‘asked her to stay but she wouldn’t listen’. He jumps into the water to go after her but ‘it’s far too late she’s gone away.’ Later they realize that Robin has sacrificed herself for them and has had a tragic life so far (‘every night you cry yourself to sleep’ etc) but Sanji and the other strawhats don’t want her to give up hope. Sanji even gets aboard the train she’s being taken away on, waging war with tons of armed marines and the world government itself- he ‘may not make it through the night’ but he ‘won’t go home without’ her.

When Sanji and the others come after her on the train she doesn’t understand why they don’t just give up on someone like her.

Especially when Robin leaves the crew to protect them this song reminds me of the pair. Sanji wants Robin to know that she can have faith in him to not be defeated by any of the enemies he has to protect her from. I honestly just love this song for this pairing and when I think of them while listening to it I’m very touched. I made an entire thing about how it relates to them here.
