Sorry for being so slack guys. New bosses at work and I've worked so many hours this last week, it's just not even funny. 62 hours in 5 days. But I have a job, and mostly I like it, so I will be thankful.
Gotten thru another 2 week phase 1 of south beach, which isn't hard, just boring. I go back to it every couple of months to keep a balance and not let myself too off track with eating. I am not entirely strict about it, but no bread, regular pasta, rice, or potatoes. A tortilla every few days, or some whole wheat pita chips with hummus for a snack. But otherwise, chicken, fish and veggies.everything feels a little looser though, I'll take it.. Chris had a physical last week and they found high sugar and told him to drop 10 pounds or so. So we'll make a good effort to eat healthy most of the time. His thought was to leave something that he normally orders off his lunch. went to K and W yesterday. Said he usually gets hamburger steak, rice, greens, cabbage and a roll. Guess what he left off? CABBAGE........I had to laugh at him, but after he was gone.....need to work on some additional exercise too........

Fortunately, he has more brains when it comes to me. Finally got to be in his house last week. Big scary step for him, but he was really glad I was with him there. But I swear, we're getting old. I know we're in that stage where you stay up all night talking about everything under the sun instead of going to sleep, but this is ridiculous. Finally fell asleep about 4;45 last night for alarm to go off at 7 for work. Bad, bad, bad......Happy though.....
: ) Well worth it...Scary with the baby drama still looming, but he knows I'm with him on having the baby part time so he's relaxing a good bit more lately....that L word - which I feel, obviously, is just gonna fall out of my mouth one day and I will just look at him like a deer in headlights - OMG- What was that? haha!
