To take a break from thinking about where I'll be spending the next four years...
we drop to a very trivial topic (no, I have no idea what the AP English term for this is)
Ants (I learned something about ants today)
Okay, so our house has been subject to ant invasion on countless occasions, and I've learned
- Ant bites can HURT. Well, not really hurt, but they're significantly more painful than you'd expect a one centimeter little thingy would do. Apparently all insects release a poison which causes a lot of pain.
- Blocking ant holes is pointless...
- Ants don't drown easily. Seriously. Water is not very effective.
- Ants carry their fallen comrades back. Really. They do. More human than you thought huh?
- Ants sleep. I never thought about that, cuz those mindless little things like to bug us at all hours. But this morning I found two ants taking a nap.
Anyway, I'm going to Harvey Mudd for the next two days. SHould be fun and exciting. HMC... i think I'm leaning slightly more to Harvey Mudd over San Diego, both of which I am definitely leaning more towards than UCLA, which I am leaning more towards than Berkeley. (odd, i ranked the UC's in reverse order)
