Sooo does anyone want to go on a road trip with me?? On the weekend of October 6th, I am going to Iowa to see one of my favorite musicians... He goes by the name Jandek....

well, the thing is, not many people have. In fact, nobody even really knows who he is. Since 1978, Jandek has released 51 albums. To buy them you have to send a check to

Then he will send you an album. Pretty strange, huh? It gets stranger. In the 29 years or so that he's been releasing albums, he has only done 1 interview, back in the eighties. Up until October of 2004 he had never played a live show. Then he came out from the shadows and played a show, unannounced. And he has played a few shows since then. But Anyways, he is going to be playing in Iowa, and so I am going. I feel like this is too big of an opportunity to pass up. Who knows if he will ever play any shows again. I can say that I am one of only a handful of people in the entire world that has seen the representative from Corwood Industries (Jandek) in person.
So if anyone wants to go... let me know. I know that none of you will go, but i thought that i would invite you anyways. Don't miss this rare chance.
If you decide not to go... When you are old, and on your deathbed, you are going to look back and regret not going.
