"We can do no great things,
just small things with great love.
It is not how much you do,
but how much love you put into doing it."
-Momma T
After all we interact with Jesus, our loving savior who gave it ALL for us, everyday.
"What ever you have done onto the least of these, you have done it onto me."
God is found in the least of these, and in every one of us. We see more of God in
"the least of these" because they have died to themselves and have found life in God.
They are less, he is more. He prevails and radiates through them. The love of Christ is evident in their lives and actions. They are the true Christians.
We all have God in us. We are literally temples of God. He actually resides in us. We are his hands, feet, and presence on this earth. With that in mind, our choices, decisions, and actions should greatly be affected by this. If Christ is in you and in everyone. (and he is!) We should act accordingly.
But what about the atheists, the agnostics, the non-believers. Is God in them too? I believe he is supposed to be. That's how everyone is created. To have a relationship with God, our creator. "There is a God shaped hole in all of us and the restless soul is searching... And that's a void only he can fill." We were all meant to have a wonderful, affirming, loving, personal relationship with the Lord. We are born with that hole, that need, that desire, and so many people fall into sin trying to fill this, looking for satisfaction, love, affirmation elsewhere. But nothing else can ever satisfy this desire, fill this hole but God. We were made as a temple.
I want to be a true Christian, not just in my church attendance, background, or even thoughts, but in my actions, heart, and revolutionary lifestyle. "Lord prepare me, to be a sanctuary. Pure and holy, tried and true. With thanksgiving, I'll be a living sanctuary for you."
"Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting?" (1 Cor. 15:55)
I want this read at my funeral and for it to be true.
