School Day
So I am home now,
After a long, yet short first semester of college.
It has been about 4 months.
It's hard to believe.
I got through with a 4.0,
some new friends,
plenty of new experiences,
but I really don't think I got the most out of this time.
A lot of it was awkward and confusing,
Too much of it was spent locked up inside my own mind,
with a disheartened perspective,
lacking passion or interest.
This is not who I've been in the past and this is not who I desire to be.
Good news that time is over. That semester has past.
It wasn't terrible, but it certainly was not the most pleasant experience.
Let's call it a learning experience, but there is so much yet to figure out.
I know one thing, next semester will be different.
has to be different.
Thank God there is more.
Let me experience more.
Help me to get past this.
