(no subject)
I was sitting around today trying to think what I was doing last year on y birthday and for the life of me I cannot remember. I guess I'll look it up in my journal. Birthdays aren't really significant to me but this year has been especially nice for me. I didn't have to leave my house except to pick up some things from the store I wanted and I had a steady stream of visitors and phone calls with just enough time in between to get some projects done. My parents and grandma bought me a new BBQ instead of their usual nicknacky things. My dad and I assembled it together and gave them a reason to stay for more than five minutes. Don't get me wrong they were getting ready to bolt as soon as they dropped off the grill but I demanded they stay and help me put it together. I also got the pathway to the back yard lit up and planted some flowers. All in all a great day irregardless of being my birthday.
