Title: The Advice of the One who Loves You

Summary: Yuto gives advice to the once person in his life that he loves most, his best friend.
Author's Note: It's not super long as I wanted it to be but it's cute enough for a Valentine's Day short. It's too long to be a drabble and too short to be a one-shot so it's a short.
“Sometimes you don’t know who you’re going to love until they walk right into you, and I mean literally walk into you. The best part is that you know them already, you know what they like and don’t like, you know how they wake up in the morning and when they go to bed, you know their practice schedules and their concert schedule, because their exactly the same as yours, but then why don’t you go for it? Why is it so hard to go to them and say “I love you, will you go out with me?” What is holding you back? Society? The agency? If it is meant to be it will be and nothing can stop you from being together, trials and tribulations are a speck if you are meant to be then you will.”
“You sit here and tell me that you’re nervous or that you don’t want to be rejected, if he likes you back then hooray, but if you never take that step then you’ll be lonely. The worst thing they could do would be what you already have, is that such a bad thing? You’re with them everyday anyways? Would it be awkward afterwards? Course it would but would it be worth it and would it become normal later? Then yes, it would be worth it.”
“Can I be your cupid? Of course not, why would you want that? Don’t get me wrong, the magic of cupid is fantastic, but it’s only temporary, I’m your best friend, at least I think I am, I’m telling you to go for it, I’m looking out for you, ever since we were younger and you were my leader, I’ve helped you through everything, behind the scenes we give each other advice and I’m telling you, you won’t regret it.”
“The courage you have to ask someone out is the best thing ever, trust me. Without the help of someone else you can easily snag your catch. I’m not calling him a fish, but you are trying to land him. I really don’t understand you, you’re so scared and yet you have it down exactly, it’s not as though your inexperienced, you’ve had boyfriends before and you’ve stayed friends afterwards right?”
“Yeah and you remember how awkward it was for the first month or so, but you both moved on, and became friends once again, yes it will be a little different this time but no different than what Yuyan and Yama-chan are doing? Or even Yabu-kun and Hikaru, they’ve stayed together through it and now it’s your turn. Just admit your feelings to him already, I don’t know how else to tell you. Or how to help.”
“Trust me alright, admit your feelings to him tomorrow, and if he says no then I’ll take you out to dinner to cheer you up, and if he says yes, which I’m sure he will, take him out to dinner and celebrate your new relationship. Anywhere he wants, it will be worth it.”
“Don’t even say that, I know this will work out, I’m sure of his feelings, I’ve been watching both of you lately, how you sneak glances at the other person when you believe the other isn’t looking, we’ve all noticed it, except you two. Trust me.”
“Alright? I’ll talk to you tomorrow. Just do it when everyone has left, I’ll make him stay late alright, so slack off after practice and then you can bear your heart out to the world, your world.”
“Goodnight, do your thing and call Yabu. See you tomorrow. Bye”
“Thank-you for doing that Yuto.” Yuto heard through the phone right before he hung up.
Yuto placed his phone next to him on the bed and then turned to his friend who was in the room as well. “You owe me. But why does he have to confess?”
“Because he’s never done it before, I want to see if he can. Trust me. You won’t be paying for dinner tomorrow night. I can’t believe you made that bet.”
“Dai-chan, Dai-chan, Dai-chan, he would only do it if he knew there would be dinner involved, I’m not saying that he wouldn’t do it but I don’t think he realized tomorrow is Valentine’s Day, tomorrow is the perfect romantic setting.”
“You know what would be really great, if I told him first right? After he waits all day to ask me, what if I just spring it out first?”
“That was your plan all along wasn’t it?” Yuto smiled at his friend, “You made me use my good advice for something you were already planning to do anyways? Rude.”
“Yuto, you were fantastic and you’re not losing anything out of it, you still have a vast amount of advice in that large brain of yours I was just faster with my plan. I had been planning on telling him, but I don’t know it makes me happier to know that he’s being cautious about asking me.”
“You’re horrible, you know that?”
“I know, but you love me for it.”
“I know; why do I do this to myself?” Yuto joked.
“You’re the best Yuto, I need to get going, see you tomorrow.” Daiki walked to the front door of Yuto’s house with Yuto in tow.
“I know. Now get out, let me get some sleep.” Yuto said shutting the door behind his friend. Yuto turned around and fell to the floor. He didn’t know whether to be relieved, angry, upset or crawl up in a ball and die. Tomorrow would be interesting, but he helped his two friends find love even if it meant hurting himself in the process.
Yuto woke up the next day upset with himself, he regretted saying that advice to his best friend and to his other best friend but he had no choice they loved each other, who was he to stand in the way of someone else’s love. It wasn’t Yuto’s time, now it was Kei and Daiki’s turn. Yuto would just have to wait.
Author's Note: I'm still working on the multi-chap,been busy lately since my grandfather is in the hospital, but it will be released soon. At the moment it is titled Saved but that could change. So keep an eye out.
