akira_amie_yuki, her birthday is technically tomorrow the 22nd but it is already the 22nd somewhere in the world so Happy Birthday!

“Where are you dragging me too?” Daiki called out, he was a few feet behind Takaki. Takaki, being the gentleman he is, was forcefully dragging Daiki by the arm, quickly through the crowds of the busy street.

“A place…” Takaki said smiling. The last time Takaki had done this, Daiki ended up being sore for at least a day and wasn’t able to sit comfortably for most of that day.

“Where!? Takaki stop being so secretive, you know I hate that!” Daiki called out, Takaki had stopped dragging him and Daiki was able to catch up in speed.

“Shhh, if I tell you, I’ll ruin the surprise….I’m treating you today,” Takaki said softly.

“But why?” Daiki was confused, yes it was his birthday a few days ago but still, this was enough.

“Because it is my birthday present to you,” Takaki answered simply.

“But you already gave me a birthday present. I was numb for two days! I could barely sit down!” Daiki disagreed.

Takaki smiled in triumph, “yes but this is a different one, and besides you loved it and don’t lie.”

Daiki gave in, he really did love it but this was too much, he didn’t even do this much for Takaki’s birthday last month, and it made Daiki feel bad that he couldn’t do more for his love. “Of course, let’s go to where ever you are dragging me.”

“Someone is persistent,” Takaki chided. “But don’t worry, I’m excited too, and we’re almost there.”

Daiki huffed but walked beside Takaki until they got to this fancy restaurant, which neither of them could really afford. “What are we doing here?”

“Din-ner,” Takaki said like it was the most obvious thing in the world.

“I know that silly, but can you afford this?” Daiki asked worried that his boyfriend’s pay check was now gone for the next three months.

“Don’t worry about it,” Takaki said smiling. “Why do you think I made you dress nice?”

“I don’t know. I was just following orders,” Daiki said casually.

Takaki smiled as they walked up the small red carpet of the fancy restaurant. “Reservations for Takaki,” he said to the maitre d’. The man nodded and led them to a secluded area that was just for the two of them. Daiki was awed by the fanciness of the restaurant but said nothing and followed the two men.

“Here you go sirs,” the maitre d’ said gesturing to a booth, “a waiter will be right with you,” he placed down two menus took a small bow and then excused himself, going back to his post.

“Thank-you,” Takaki said and sat down to the seat. This was nothing like their usual dinner outings.

“Really? This place is so expensive!” Daiki said looking through the menus. “Are you sure?”

“Yes, it’s fine just order what ever you like, tonight the price doesn’t matter alright, just choose what you want,” Takaki assured him.

Daiki was still uneasy but when the waiter came he ordered something that looked interesting on the menu, Takaki followed and ordered the same thing. “Way to be original.”

“It looked good, and besides it’s not like we voiced out what we were going to have before hand, we could’ve had time to swap. We have been together for like ever, so it’s only natural that we’d start reading each other’s mind. It’s like we’ve become Yabu and Hikaru.”

“We will never be Yabu and Hikaru,” Daiki argued. “They have a different kind of relationship, one that no one can break.”

“And you don’t want that?”

“That is not what I meant.”

“I know I’m just messing with you,” Takaki smiled and Daiki shook his head in relief.

When their order’s arrived Daiki took no notice of the person who was serving the food just that there was now food on the table and the awkward atmosphere could be replaced with delicious food. Takaki chose the wrong time to start speaking again.

Daiki was in the middle of a nice long drink from his water when Takaki blurted out, “I’m pregnant.” Daiki, in shock spurted all of his water out like a fountain, getting it all over Takaki.

“What the hell!” Daiki almost screamed, “How can, this happen?”

“It just did,” Takaki said keeping a straight face. “I got the results this morning.”

“How… wha… huh?” Daiki was speechless, completely incoherent as he stared at his boyfriend, completely forgetting about the word “boy”. “What are we going to do then?”

“Nothing.”

“WHAT? How can you say that!” Daiki yelled this time; luckily they were in a secluded area because he would have had faces staring at him due to his random outbursts in the fancy restaurant. “Wait, wait, wait, just a minute. How can you be pregnant?”

“Do I really have to explain the birds and the bees to you? Over dinner?” Takaki asked.

“I know that story, I’m asking how, for one thing you are a boy, and boy’s can’t have children without a female. And another thing, you top so wouldn’t it be me like that if it were even possible. Unless…”

“No I haven’t cheated on you,” Takaki said calmly reading Daiki’s mind. “I’m just kidding. I wanted to see your reaction.”

“Ooooh Yuyan that was NOT COOL!” Daiki fumed.

“Sure it was, I got a nice screen shot for my phone now,” Takaki said pulling out his phone and showing Daiki’s shocked face. Takaki smiled and put his phone away.

“That was mean!”

“I know but you are so cute when you are mad!” Takaki said cutely. “It took you a while to catch on too; it was so hard to keep a straight face.”

“Well I’m glad that I amuse you, but if you’ll excuse me,” Daiki said while grabbing his jacket to go, that was cruel so now it was Takaki’s turn to plead.

“Dai-chan, please don’t go, please, I didn’t mean it I just wanted to bring some more fun to our night,” Takaki pleaded.

“Fine, I’ll stay, only because that food is so good. I’ll give you another chance to make it up to me.”

“Good, because I have another thing up my sleeve.”

“And what would that be?”

“Come on in guys!” Takaki called and one by one the other member’s of Hey! Say! JUMP filed in each laughing at Daiki as they entered the area.

“Hi guys,” Daiki said sourly and Takaki slid himself and his food to the other side of the booth, beside Daiki.

“Dai-chan, you’re reaction was so funny!” Yamada said while sliding in to the booth. Yuto said nothing but slid into the booth as well.

“Boys can’t have babies Dai-chan, even I knew that!” Chinen said cutely.

“I thought my hamster had babies once but he’s a boy so I was really confused, it just turned out that Shintaro fed him cheese and it was something else,” Ryutaro said grossly.

Keito and Inoo both slid in beside Ryutaro and then Yabu and Hikaru filled the rest of the booth. “Geez Dai-chan, you made me lose the bet too!” Hikaru complained as he was the last to sit down.

“Me too!” Yuto piped in.

“Huh?” Daiki was confused.

“Yuto and I bet Yabu and the other’s that you would catch on right away,” Hikaru stated.

“Well thank-you for believing in me, I’m sorry to have let you down.”

“It’s alright Dai-chan, I lost the bet too,” Yabu said softly.

“Huh? Didn’t Hikaru just say you won?”

“Yes but that was a different bet. Us member’s of JUMP were trying to figure out who topped with you two, cause neither of you would really be good at it.”

“Yabu!” Takaki yelled offended by the attack.

“We were just trying to figure it out, and since you said it in your reaction we figured it out, so thank-you,” Yamada said smiling.

“And why were you trying to figure it out?” Takaki looked beside him to Yamada waiting for an answer.

Keito spoke up, “it was just too hard to figure out.”

“So let me get this straight,” Daiki started, “my birthday present was to trick me into believing that you were pregnant, and through my reaction tell you who tops in our relationship?” the others nodded, “couldn’t you have just asked?”

They all looked at him like he was an idiot. Inoo spoke up, “Dai-chan, seriously? If one of us came up to you, and asked who “wore the pants” in your relationship would you tell them?”

“No.”

“Then there you go,” Chinen said simply.

“It was just easier this way,” Yuto said simply.

“I don’t think it is very funny.”

“It’s alright Dai-chan, just some fun,” Yabu tried.

“No I was really scared there,” Daiki told them, “and to make it up to me you guys owe me two boxes of Pocky each!”

“Daiki, aren’t you being a little too emotional?” Ryutaro asked.

“No I’m not, also,” he turned to Takaki, “how did you afford this place in the first place? It’s so expensive! And why here!?”

“We paid Dai-chan; it was on the eight of us,” Chinen said cutely.

“Well in that case I think I’ll have dessert!”

“Now, now, no need to be a pig about it,” Yamada scolded, Daiki shot him a look. “Why don’t we go to the park or something?”

“Sounds good to me,” Yuto said casually.

“There are bugs in the park. No way,” Takaki refused.

“Yeah let’s go, for a little bit anyways,” Daiki said simply and then standing up. “You owe me Takaki.”

Takaki grumbled but stood up as well. The others followed suit. Yabu paid the very expensive dinner bill and they went to the moonlit park.

“Happy Birthday Dai-chan!” Yamada, Yuto, Chinen and Ryutaro screamed really loudly while running around. Daiki brightened up considerably as he took a seat next to Takaki, Inoo, and Keito on the picnic table.

“Happy Birthday Daiki” Takaki said simply and kissed Daiki on the forehead pulling him close.

Yabu and Hikaru joined the four of them on the table as Daiki said, “thank-you Takaki and just so you know, tonight I top,” which caused everyone on the table to double over in laughter.

The End.

Author’s Note: Yeah so that was my short little Happy Birthday story to my favourite Hey! Say! JUMP member Daiki. I should have had it done on his birthday, but my exams and hiatus kept me from doing so. As always please remember the three C’s: Comments are appreciated, Confetti = <3 and Criticism is like oxygen. Don’t worry I can handle it.
