Yes, I have returned from an unknown existence once more to charm you all with my not so quirky life. Of late significant things have been happening that are worth some noting.
Finally Trevor and I have got the ball rolling and have started to plan a little more for our future. I have temporarily moved into his parents rather large house, until I can find work around the Torbay/Newton Abbott/Bovey Tracey area. (To those unfamilier with the southwest, the English Riviera will sufice.)Then it will be possible to look for our own apartment. Since Trevor works nights and I'll be looking for day time work, it means lifts from trevor to and from work will be possible, thus enlargening my search are.
So far I am awaiting some application forms from the main management company of Dartmoor, regarding two Corporate Administrator positions that I am more than capable of doing, and which will start in December - that is if they will ever get here, what with the postal annoyances etc.
After battling with Trevors love of things looking snazzy and not caring so much about what they do, I helped him to purchase a rather good computer for a fairly good price from dell. Intel Dual Core, Gig of RAM, fairly good nVidea and Gforce graphics, 19 inch flatscreen monitor - and it looks shiny as well. I was thoroughly relieved when he recieved it and actually liked it. I'm actually quite jealous being as my laptop has similer stats but cost about £200 more. Never mind.
Now that we have the computer bought, I've made him switch his internet. I can't believe he was still on the very lowest broadband and paying more than it would cost to get it now. Anyhoo, a shiny 8 meg is coming his way for about £17.99 a month. Well, it's all set up - just need to recieve the modem which is probably sat in a dusty sorting office somewhere.
And finally to round the goodness up, we've booked tickets to go and see the Tiger Lillies at blackheath halls for the 21st of this month. Train tickets have been purchased and two nights at the Clarendon hotel in Blackheath booked, all relatively cheap - routes to the hotel have been researched, so a nice relaxing weekend in London is on the cards. Those of you who don't know of the tiger lillies, I advice to look up their myspace/website. You're missing a treat, or alternatively search them in YouTube, they truly are unique. We happened upon them by chance after hearing one of their songs on a Derren Brown program and e-mailing the producer to ask what it was.
Anyhoo enough deliciousness from me, and apologies for having disapeared for so long.
