Freecycle is starting to work for me at last.
No major bedroom/livingroom finds (not that I REALLY want a used couch) bur I did land a bookshelf that looks a lot like the ones I have. This morning, I inquired about a big pag board that I plan to use for my tools in the utility room..that is, if the pegboard is still available.
Freecycle's great, except that most people are lousy at picking up. They say they want stuff but really don't, or only want it if it has xyz. My god folks, it's FREE. Some never pick their stuff up.
That's why I am giving my next batch of giveaways to a church. My former intern (the chem whiz) is closely conncected with her church and said they could use my junk. Hallelujah!
(For some reason, the quote "All I need is some tights and a lobotomy" came to mind. Guess I am feeling mentally drained.)
And now my mind's gone completedly blank, but I am thinking I need to find a HEPA filter. Good night, sweet prince. Parting is such sweet sorrow.
