Marvellous. The sunshine has held up, all my evenings and weekends of hard work in the garden have paid off to make it useable, and I'm about to have my inaugural BBQ of 2008, having missed out entirely on BBQs in my own garden last year due to me being away every weekend there was even a hint of dry weather.
We'll be having steak with rosemary & garlic, swordfish, and prawns marinaded with lime and harissa, and I've been saving a fine rose cava just for this purpose.
To top it off, davecar has rigged up the laptop so we can watch the F1 coverage outside, while tending to our foodstuffs, reclining on the grass, and generally enjoying the garden rather than labouring in it!
Could be an interesting race, waiting to see how many will be claimed by the "Wall of Champions", and whether or not Hamilton is slightly light-fuelled to have put in such a blistering pole lap.
May have some apple shisha later to round off the day ...
