Yay---no root canal!

your post reminded me of my one (and, hopefully, only) root canal experience. i had dental insurance (or so i thought) but once all system's were go, i was told by blue cross that i had a 6 month waiting period for anything more serious than a cavity. sooo, $2500 later, the tooth felt as good as new but the wallet hurt for a long time. btw, if you ever need a root canal, i have the BEST endodontist...kind and very, very good at his job. no pain, no swelling. loved him! having said that, i'm glad you don't need one. yay for you!
