Prologue:            “When I found you, I felt as if my heart found its destination”

He is a young, charming and successful guy that everyone, no matter what his sex is, craves for laying his hands on him. He is a businessman who runs one of the biggest commercial centers in the country but moreover he is also a composer. Apparently it is more like a hobby rather than a career. He always uses composing as a mean to help him relax after those long and tiring business trips or to get him out of the harsh realistic.

Never before had he been serious about it. Never before had he had that desire to create the most beautiful song, which deserves to be sung by that voice. It was not until he met this one guy. His performance was not similar to any thing he has ever seen before. As soon as Yoochun heard his voice raising, his whole body was trembling unconsciously therefore he couldn’t do any other thing rather than staring at the young boy who was singing on the stage. His face could hardly be seen partly due to the dim yet colorful lights, which were constantly rotating around the stage. However, virtually it was because of his “singing style”. The young boy tilted his head to a side or sometimes even leaned his whole body to the back when he needed to reach the high tones. His eyes were barely opened or in other words they were just half opened. His body toughened when he got to the emotional parts of the song. To some people, they may think his style was weird or even not as beautiful as other singers but everyone has to agree that his voice was awesome; it was so much better in comparison to other competitors.

The thing is, who cares about what those people think, they are only interested in what Yoochun thinks for a very simply yet persuasive reason. Park Yoochun’s corporations will finance those new trainees in other to make them become ones of the best celebrities. And Yoochun thinks that his style of performing is something more than just passionate, he has such a heartbreaking voice that can melt the listeners’ hearts into sweet liquids and most importantly from the boy Yoochun can find the irresistible charisma in addition with the vague sadness that made him deadly curious to know more about the singer. Hence after a short discussion between Yoochun and other members in the examiners, the young boy along with another trainee is chosen to make their debuts.

“Han Tae Suk, 19 years old... and Kim Junsu, 18 years old…” Yoochun mumbles as he scans through their profiles. Kim Junsu, we will definitely meet again… very soon.

Tomorrow is yet another 26th of August. Yunho feels fidgety from the very moment he woke up this morning. He knows too well that this feeling won’t go away no matter what he does, but still he needs some fresh air so he decides to take a stroll. Trying his best not to wake anyone in his share apartment up, Yunho steps out of the house.  It is strangely quiet outside. There isn’t a sound of movement except for the howling winds making their way through Yunho’s hair. Cloudlets after cloudlets are gradually eating up the crescent moon leaving the beautiful darkness for those tiny stars doing their shine-battle. Yunho isn’t sure where he is supposed to go to, so he let the stars lead his way and the winds nonchalantly drive him on.  His thoughts wander back to the past as usual. There isn’t a single time he forget about those memories. To him, it’s like they have just happened yesterday.

`

“Hyung!!!” the voice echoed through the empty basement.

“Junsu ah!!!” Yunho cried merrily as he opened his arm waiting for the younger boy.

“I have a good news and a bad news. Which one do you want to hear first?” Junsu asked, his face buried in the taller boy’s torso.

Humming, Yunho glanced down at his crony “What is wrong? You don’t sound like yourself today Junsu ah” he commented, “ Tell me the bad news first”.

“I’m moving” Junsu answered, his face was still on Yunho’s chest.

“What? Moving? To Seoul?” Yunho had a mixed feeling of confusing and the overwhelming anxiety.

“No hyung, I wish it was Seoul” Junsu paused, looking straight up at Yunho’s eyes, trying to read his reaction “My parents said that we will fly to Japan this Saturday”. Junsu could feel that Yunho stopped breathing literally, his face was blank and he didn’t even bother blinking. “I should have told you earlier but I only knew this from last night. My parents were scared that I would be depressed after knowing it so…”

Yunho could hear no more. Saturday? So he only had two days left with Junsu? “No, Junsu ah, please don’t go. Tell me you were joking” those thoughts were screaming in his head. What was he going to do without Junsu? They were always together since the day he knew how to smile.

“Hyung, hyung! Are you okay? Say something... I’m scared” Junsu called, shaking Yunho’s hands.  His eyes were all wet now, tears lingering on the corner, reading to fall any time soon “I’m sorry…”

“Don’t be. It’s not even your fault” Yunho tried to calm himself by inhaling sharply “So what is the good news?”

“My mom told me that I can go back here every year on the 26th of August cause it is my grandparents’ death anniversary”, Junsu informed, eyes brighten “So at least we still have a chance to meet every year right?”

“How can you be so sure about that? What if your parents are busy and they can’t come back here?” Yunho stated but to tell the truth, he was also praying for that last hope to come true.

“Even if my parents won’t come back…” Junsu said thoughtfully “I will go by myself then, I’m old enough to take care of myself and…” he affirmed, hands clung to Yunho’s waist “I will be back here to see you hyung… I want to…I have to…” he mumbled. His voice faded when Yunho embraced him tightly.

“Promise?”

“Yes, hyung. I promise.  We will meet at this basement on the next 26th of August. Moreover we can send letters or emails to each other. We can still keep in touch hyung” Junsu determined.

Silence took place. Yunho looked like he was already lost in his thought. Junsu stared at him hesitantly then he bit his lower lips and tiptoed. A too quick peck was passed by Yunho’s cheek just like a gentle breeze caressed his face. “Hyung, don’t you ever forget me!” Junsu whispered before running away.
