This weekend I was at a wedding.  It was in a lovely bit of the middle of France, leading to an excitingly cross-cultural celebration, as the Hannah and Russell are Scottish and English respectively.

I have just returned from a happy long weekend (Thurs-Mon) helping mrpj_antarctica with his Epic Journey with a narrowboat.  I joined him at Stone (just north of Stafford), and left today at Royal Leamington Spa.  There was much lock- and boat-based fun, plentiful food and relaxation, and it was just what I needed after the last couple of weeks.  At some point, ( Read more... )
