I have been using MightyV for quite a while for TV listings, but it appears to have gone down. Well, the website is down, and email is bouncing, although my RSS feed seems to be updating. Does anyone have any suggestions of good sites? My requirements are that it must have a grid-style view of FreeView channels that I select, preferably in column format, and a way of marking programmes/series that I want to watch and reminding me to do so. An iCal RSS feed of these is a valuable extra, as is Radios 2 and 4.
MightyV ticked all these boxes admirably. Radio Times is OK, but the interface is a bit clunky, there are lots of adverts, it's a horizontal format, and no RSS feed that I can find, although I do use it to find videoplus numbers for programming the VCR. I've been hoping that MightyV might come back up, but it's looking increasingly dead, so I think I have to look elsewhere.
In other news, I have finally got my parents to buy a new computer (at last!), and my asthma is being a PITA. When I was thinking back a couple of days ago, the following occured to me:
about 15 years ago: diagnosed with asthma, needed occasional blue inhaler
about 10 years ago: asthma worsened, needed regular brown inhaler
about 5 years ago: asthma worsened, needed regular green inhaler as well as brown one
about 5 weeks ago: asthma worsened and isn't really coming back under control with current meds.
Um.
I hope this isn't a pattern. On the plus side, 3.5 data points is in no way statistically significant.
