OOPS! I Fubar'ed a little bit, and didn't realize that I hadn't posted chapter four of this up before I posted chapter five... Oopsie? Blame stress and a lack of chocolate. And tea. There's like - no tea places in Gainesville. Just lots and lots and lots of Starbucks. Well, and Volta. OMFG Volta is good. Oh yes, oh so damnably good. But it's coffee ( Read more... )

Meh, those teas are made with flavor oils, it's just not the same. I got used to real leaf teas like with chunks of other stuff in there. Almonds, cinnamon bark, cloves, anise seeds, flowers (roses, jasmine, hibiscus), sometimes even chocolate depending on the flavor. Which I'm sure sounds strange, but bagged tea... it's just not the same. I've got an order coming from Canada of some nice loose leaf teas, but I like the environment of places like Steeps and Felici-tea. Starbucks just kinda... rips off of those places, creating a more generic version. I mean it's good n'stuff, but if you've had the real deal? Oy.... nothing is good enough anymore unfortuantely ( ... )

Starbucks has a high acid content, but it's gotten better. It's cuz when they're roasting the beans they do it in massive bulk. For some seriously killer coffee, try looking up Intellegensia they're all very small batches for roasting, and it's all very fair trade practices etc. Plus it's just n0m-n0m. But it's not cheap, like fifteen a bag I think. But soooooooooooooo worth it. All of the farmers that they buy the beans from are small family farms and stuff too, so it ranges from all over Central and South America and parts of Africa and the Phillipines etc.
Dammit, now I think I hafta go to Volta later and get me a chipotle latte.

You're not a losser! *bonks you with a fluffy pillow* You're a student, and you bust your butt and you do picspams of teh awsomeness. Therefor - you are made of win. If you are made of win, how can you not be a winner? And if you're a winner there is no way to be a loser....
Unless we're talkin' some effed up psychology stuff where winning is actually losing and you're damned if you do, damned if you don't and that any action - even taking no action - is still losing. If that's the sort of 'losing' you're talkin' bout - I can't help ya. Otherwise - you so not a loser. So thhhpt! *blows a raspberry*
