What is there to say?!
"Big Fish" is one of the best movies I have ever seen of all time! :D OMG! When you guys see the movie, I know you will so think of me. lol I am not being conceited or anything, I swear! It isn't my fault that my name is actually in the movie and the college I am transferring to is too! hehehehe
This movie was just amazing. I was really impressed by Ewan McGregor with his acting and his southern accent. I do have to say that if I didn't know who Ewan McGregor is and that he is Scottish, I would think that it was his southern accent was real.
This movie really does give you a sense of how things are in Alabama. I know I complain about how I hate this state and how things here aren't that great, but "Big Fish" does manage to give you a true idea about how this state is with the hospitality and the way people are here.
When I actually sit down and think of "Sweet Home Alabama" and the way it protrayed people here, it just wasn't how things truly are. In a way, "Sweet Home Alabama" was kinda insulting if you sit there and think about it. Well, it was a cute movie, but it wasn't exactly how things are here. It was an exaggerated a lot. Ok, end of that rant....
Ok, I must say this as a disclaimer when it comes to "Big Fish"....Whatever you see that they imply is Auburn, AL, is so NOT Auburn. The film was not actuall filmed in Auburn. There is no buliding in Auburn like that, and no, there is no classroom in Auburn that has a pipe organ like in the movie. Sadly, the movie was not filmed in Auburn, but if it had been, I can tell you the perfect location for the movie to be filmed at though. ;) lol
I know, I keep gushing about how great this movie was, and I know, you won't appreciate a lot of the little things in the movie like I did because I am from around here, but it is an awesome movie and you just need to go see it. So, please...when you get a chance go to see "Big Fish"!
