What does this tell you?
Well, I just found out about Ruben's first week numbers from the Fox 6 Birmingham news here....
Lets compare numbers, shall we?
CDs made to be shipped out before release
Clay: 2 million copies
Ruben: 1.3 million copies
700,000 copies difference
First week sales
Clay: 613,000 copies
Ruben: 416,000 copies
198,000 copies difference in first week sales.
I just love the way that the news here admitted that Ruben didn't measure up to Clay. That so made my day.
Also, one of my friends, Mallory (chaosangel01) told me about how the TV Guide channel compared Ruben and Clay's sales on their CDs here in Alabama, and Clay outsold the majority of the cities here in Ruben's homestate. What does that tell you?
Hmmm...Is it just me or is there a possible way that American Idol 2 could have been rigged? O_o (yes, I know what I just did. lol. You can go like pass out now or something, Mars. lol)

Clay: 1.7 million copies in 9 weeks
Kelly: 1.3 million copies in 8 months
(That was the last numbers I heard on Kelly. Correct me if I am wrong.)
Interesting stuff, I tell you....Considering it is going around that Clay and Kelly will be touring together next year. I hope not. Clay deserves his own solo tour, but it is their decision. I know there are quite a few petitions out there saying Clay should be able to have a tour of his own. It doesn't matter to me, I can live with Kelly. I like most of the songs on her CD anyway.
