More Alive then Dead

Seriously, it has been a looong time since I've updated.

First and foremost; during this time I have discovered West Wing. West Wing is... absolutely the best series I've ever seen I can not believe that I've missed it previously. It's facinating, the politics are provocative, the dialogue, oh the dialogue! it's fast and witty and absolutely brilliant. It, it, it made me laugh out loud! and I don't do that.

The characters ... I'm in love with all of them. I don't even have a favorite, well, I lie, but only because Sam Seaborn is the most gorgeous thing to ever walk the earth and I desperately want to lick him, all of the characters are amazing though. Their chemistry is unbelievable. It is a tragedy of humongous proportions that I can not bring myself to read the fanfic, for in comparison to the real thing it falls terribly short and makes me want to cry. This is such a change from most everything else in which my list of favorite authors far outdo the original. I have made my mom watch it and am working on my sister. There shall remain no one unconverted! I highly suspect, from what everyone says that the series goes muchly downhill as soon as Aaron Sorkin leaves but I'm still on season 2 and thus am in heaven .

The really sad thing about the fanfiction is that there are so many time jumps that it practicly begs for filler. Yet, if the show decided to do a romantic relationship between any of the guys... you just know they'd do it better then anything you can write yourself, which leaves one... discouraged.

Also, I have watched Serenity which was pretty damn awesome. River absolutely rules, as does her pretty, pretty brother. *eyes her brother* I so suspect that Keily was not the only one desperately lusting after him but merely the only one open and honest about it...

In other news I'm sick and my throat feels extraordinarily disgusting.

I can't believe I didn't post my reaction to Auror and Lost Boys but suffice it to say that these immediately became some of my favorite Atlantis episodes. The "He dies, you die" line by Ronon... *squeee*. January shall be a happy time. Meantime people must keep on going in this lovely Ronon grove that they have. This concern for canon that is preventing people from writing any forward moving fic is nonesense! nonesense I tell you, if nothing else we can assume that eventually they get out of there and back to Atlantis! I need my fic to tide me over this time of emptiness... *fake sob*
