(no subject)

My labor day weekend of misery is now over. It wasn’t bad enough that I was taken to West Virginia to stay in a house with a cat. No. Its not enough that my face and neck are still swollen. Yesterday, I was made to work in the family room, where the floors were being swept, and dust clouds hovered throughout and limited visibility to about 6 or 7 feet. Cough cough. Lungs filling up with nasty stuff. Just like when I used to have asthma attacks. Oh yeah, fun fun. We carried out what was left of the furniture from the family room as well. A couch, two particle board cabinets, and a particle board computer desk. Drat that stuff was heavy. We moved about a dozen garbage bags to the street as well. After all that, it was time to go out and eat. The Golden Coral of course. No better place to pig out at then the Golden Coral, usually referred to as the Crusty Cow in our house. I had a key lime cheesecake there for desert that was just delicious.

I’ve begun studying for my next Microsoft certification exam. Going after the 70-305, Developing and Implementing Web Applications through VB.NET and VS.NET. Some of the subject matter was already covered in developing windows based apps, so I don’t think this test will be any more difficult then the first. Its different though, in that I don’t really have any practical experience in building web based apps in VB.NET. I might have to take my laptop home and play around with creating some new web applications. Just to get a feel for whats possible and how you go about doing it.
