Damnit
So, it looks like my hard disk is fubar. Which means I lost some awesome music, pictures, some goddamn huge RPG books downloaded with much trouble from Sharza, and that poem I wrote, which is the thing that's really bothering me. The pictures would hurt too, accept that but for the grace of God I didn't clear out my memory card like I was planing on doing last weekend. This means that I still have a lot of the shots I when my HD went down. I'm going to copy them all onto my desktop.
Still, I did lose some good pictures and that hurts. And I can remember the start of the poem I lost, but not the end. Which means I may never be able to reproduce it, at least not at any quality near the original.
I am deeply regretting not listening to the people who told me to stay away from Compaqs right now.
