Firstly. Pornucopia 2007 is still being delightful. It ends this coming Sunday, so you have all week to write comment fic if you wish. Gen and friendship/team fic is both accepted and well-represented! When it's finished, I'll compile a page of links.
Secondly. pellucid is having an anonymous love meme! Go and be anon and spread the love. Sometimes the world and fandom can really be a bitch. We kiss boo-boo all better.

Most have already read this widely-recced story. BUT... sugargroupie wrote this excellent SGA fic titled Only a Ghetto Pass will Allow You Safe Passage. It's a wonderfully biting and dry story.
rowan_d wrote Stellar Drift for the sjficathon, which I'm just starting to work my way through now. And I just really loved this fic. (Also, I think I neglected to leave my adoration. ACK!) I love it because it's Sam/Jack post Jack's transfer to Washington. It's Sam and Jack in a real relationship where things don't go exactly as planned, but it *works*. It's Sam trying to adjust to so many things: Jack's command being gone, having to stand on her own, disappointment in her own mistakes... and most of all, Jack's loyalty and love. She can't seem to quite believe that he's still there.
ivorygates wrote All Heads Turn When the Hunt Goes By. It's a fascinating darkfic that takes the team in a less valiant direction. It asks what if their shared experiences become just too much? Wouldn't any normal person break a bit by now? We see a very dark, coping team through Cam's rookie eyes, and we see just how far they'd all go for each other. I love a fucked up team, and this is as fucked up as it gets. Daniel is especially chilling. (warning for Vala misfortune, just in case...) I want more of this.

1- My career aptitude test in high school said I should be a Coroner (medical examiner). I thought it was nuts then, but now I realize how apt it really was...
2- I think I could happily live in a very cold part of the world where it's night for 6 months straight and then day for 6 months. (generalizing)
3- My brother looks a LOT (eerily) like Justin Long. (The Mac guy in the pc/mac commercials)
4- I have a lot of stuff in my head. Things I think, things I want to bring forth. And I can't ever seem to get it all out. It feels like I'm trying to empty the ocean through a keyhole.
5- I do not like weird pizza. It must have tomato sauce and cheese on it. I do not like Italian sausage as a topping. At all.
6- I find movies like 'It's Pat' and 'Night at the Roxbury' hilarious. I'm so serious.
7- I swear I almost hit an otter on the way home from work today. But it couldn't have been an otter, so what was it? A muskrat? A wet ferret? It was huge and I don't KNOW!
