In particular, I'm looking for a pair of flat-soled boots which come up to between mid-calf and knee, allowing for my chunkier-than-average legs. I'd prefer them to be lace-up, and I'd like them to be leather but I realise I'll likely have to pay heaps for them if they are so other materials are an option

My problem with boot lust is twofold - I'm fussy, and I'm usually broke - but my tax return is in and was awesome, so I'm giving myself a little bit of money for boots :-)

I got tax return boots the year before last, but I want brown boots now. The ones I got are 'tough' chunky black ones that don't go with everything.
Yay for tax returns, I need to do mine. I hope I get a bit back.

The boots I'm looking for are flat and black but dressy.. Plus have to cater to my chunky legs :-D
