this is my first transmission from my new place, so this post will be substantially epic.
"were gonna miss your habits." thats all my dad said, i knew he wanted to say more, but i guess thats all he could muster, witthout gettin dirt in his eye. my mom didnt say much, all i could utter without sheddin out a tear was, "ill just be across the street...." i really, really, wanted to say more, but i couldnt. i wanted to say some encouragin swords, but nothin came out. what i really wanted to say was "you raised us well, well me, anyways." and when i closed that front door, i knew a chapter of my life ended, and when i went to open the front door of my place, i knew a new chapter of my life started.
i officially moved in thursday night. i cuoldnt sleep tht night, i dint fall asleep til like 2 in the mornin. it was quiet. a different kinda quiet. not like a peaceful quiet, kinda like aftermath quiet. i stared at teh ceiling for like 2 hours, pondering. i felt empty. i only had like 3 hours sleep that first night. when i woke up that mornin, my first thought was that this will be the first night of many mornins in my new place.
hahaha! on a lighter note here, my house is officially a "smoking environment." i had a smoke, and i was like, "this is MAH HOUSE, mothaFUCKA!!! NONE OF THIS GO ALL THE WAY OUTSIDE FOR NO SMOKE!" i jsut mcguyvered an ashtray outta a popcan. thats on my list of stuff to get, a brita water filter, and an ashtray, two things i could a will totally utilize in my house.
the cable and internet got hooked up yesterday, well the internet anyways, the cables bein a clusterfuck right now. the guy hooked the cable and net up, the internet connections fine, but i only get like 4 fuckin channels on the talking picturehole. i hope it gets fixed by saturday, before the first of many UFC ppv fights at the dragonhouse.
im doin my best to dodge my cousins and everyone else on the rez, all i hear is WHENS THE HOUSEWARMING...." im hoping theyll forget and lose inteterest, and find another place and reason to party. im all for havin ppl over, but the word HOUSEWARMING is that we do not speak.....
plus id rather wait for tam, it aint a party without tam, the circle dont feel complete without her.
but yeah, its a whole new world. dont you dare close your eyes.
