R.I.P. Silas (1994- January 27, 2011)
My parents' other dog, Silas, has died. He was found in his bed on Monday morning.
Silas, a golden retriever, represents my brother's first solo attempt at "pet"keeping. He was purchased from a breeder in Indiana. Of course my college student brother could not take care of him so Silas stayed with me for awhile until my parents took him.
Silas was a playful soul and remained so until just days before his death.
