New year new day
Went to Moon Tower tonight and hung out with Tim Darby, Mireille, Kevin Cogan and Matt Tremont sober while they all drank beers. I took my 3 year pork abstinence and broke it and got an amazing bacon burger cleverly titled the Cheech. It was really good seeing Matt Rivas there. Kevin is going to try to book some folk bands at this old church from the 50s turned into a theatre venue in La Porte. I think it's pretty cool and I look forward to seein that happen. Felt weird hearing Matt talk about being a dad soon and I'm very proud of him. I don't like hearing couple stuff like valentine's day stuff. He turned down the limo yacht idea Lance gave him for his wife. He was just like nah I'd do that for her and she would treat me just the same as if I got her a card. I was like what?!?!? I don't get people sometimes. Now that I'm widowed I couldn't imagine not doing something special for my wife like that. I dunno I'd either do that on valentines day or just randomly because it's someone that you love and makes your heart pitter patter. I miss those feelings a lot now but oh well. Lame rumblings of a lonely guy right. Ugh I hate losing someone I love forever....
