In the end, I decided to attend Stony Brook University in the fall. Although I'll be living below the poverty line, I'll definitely have more opportunities and, I think I think I think, be happier than I would with my other options. So, that's settled. ...is Stony Brook's gain. Too bad. You seemed to have fun in "big gay city" scenes. My guess is that you'll eventually sort out your memories of K from your memories of the re-entry phase of your undergrad trajectory. Your memories of K will gradually merge with your memories of youthful discovery and adventure, and you'll grow fond of them. I predict you'll donate 10% of the Nobel Prize money to K before you die.
