A Little Reminiscing...

Wow, I just read some of my very first entries in this journal. It's crazy how much has happened since then. June 25, 2002 was my first entry. Crazy, 3 1/2 years ago. I was still in Alaska. I just can't get over all the things I've done in the last three years. I was running through all the pictures on my computer yesterday trying to find some ( Read more... )

Dude, those trips were good times. It sounds so cliche but it's like, things are definitely different now. Who knows if we'll ever get together like that again!

On that note- is there any chance in HELL you would be able to make it up before February 2nd? That's when Jes is moving and it would be really cool to have a final pow-wow. Give it some thought!

Holy Cow, the 2nd? Where the heck did that come from? I wish I could get up there but I totally don't think it will be possible.

I totally know what you mean about things being different now, too. It's going to be weird when we're all in different states here pretty soon. We should set up a trip each year after that where we all get together... so we won't lose touch. And then when we all have kids (yes, you too...I haven't lost faith) our families can all vacation together. :)

Girls are making me sad! I agree with the both of you - but we should just all commit to meeting up in some central location occasionally. If you set it up far enough in advance it's doable. Maybe in a few months go meet in Vegas..since it's pretty much equal distance from all of us except that whore Emily..or something along those lines. Keep it togeher you know?

On another though: Emily I listened to that CD when i got it over and over. it's SO beautiful. It's sad, but sad in a way that he honors his wife without conveying the message he's lying in a pool of desparation or anything..I love it. I like promise broken, so beautiful!
