I'm still alive :D
So I'm still in Sydney, seeing all the sights again. I need to travel to the other states, considering I've gone here trice. But Sydney has Kino, so I'm willing to make concessions and a mean green tea soft serve. :(((
Weather was horrible today. Unfortunately it was Sydney's turn to have the 40+ weather today. Hoped we would have bypassed it, but no.
Had a wtf moment when we were going to our hostel. So we booked a shuffle err van.
Was grinning as was listening to all the accents around me. I like accents. :(
And since our hostel was the last one, the driver suddenly goes, oh I can't take you, since something came up, but don't worry my brother will come to pick you up. I was thinking err ok. As he kept reassuring that his brother would come, while we took our bags out.Five minutes later, a slick black car comes and it's not a company car or even a van, but a private one. Being the trusty fools we were, we got in, even though we were giving each other ehh? Looks. If this was a different country, I would be slightly worried...
On another note, Sydney has crazy drivers, even more so than Springy, which is saying something. Nearly got run over by a taxi but that's ok. I think I've gotten slightly more street smart. Maybe. First day in Sydney, not bad right? :D
Sydney has a Dymocks building. Wept internally for a few minutes because Melb doesn't have any big bookstores anymore. Could have happily stayed there, but forgotten that I was on a trip with a friend. :D;;
