:DDD 30 Seconds to Mars!

The 30 Seconds to Mars concert yesterday was absolutely AMAZING. Oh man, I had been looking forward to it for months, and I was not disappointed! That said, I still had a few problems myself... But definitely nothing that could really get me down.
I went with Anna, and we got there about two and a half hours or so before it started. Needless to say, there were still a ton of people in front of us. So, we waited in line for awhile, and then laughed to ourselves because we only knew who the people in 30StM were, so all the other bands could have strolled past and we would have been completely oblivious.
So, we get in around 5:10, and we get checked by security, who made us throw out all our food and water; not unexpected, but definitely not welcomed. We'd already hid our cameras, so they, at least, were safe, because security did the usual of rummaging through our bags and patting us down.
All righty, so at six, everyone is getting a bit antsy - we were in the first five rows of people, and crammed in together pretty tight, but you weren't pressed up against the person in front and behind you yet. So, anywho, the first band comes on. Commence screaming.
Men, Women, and Children played first, and they were all right, I guess. I thought the lead singer was pretty hot. xD
Next up was Envy on the Coast. Oh, they were fantastic! Seriously, we went and got their cd, autographs, and pictures with them afterward. During their set, the girl and guy next to me started shoving each other, which there was absolutely no room whatsoever for, and the lead singer stopped the song. All his band members were confused, and he started yelling at the guy and girl! He was like, "What is this bullshit?! You're not here to fight with other people. We're not going to play until this fucking shit stops. And guys, if you see anyone else getting pushed around, help em out. We have to stick together here." Oh, I could have kissed him. No other band ever says anything.
Next was Cobra Starship! And Gabe was just as awesome as ever. The last song they did was Snakes on a Plane, and everyone went absolutely insane. We grabbed a pic with him after the show as well. Cobra added a new member to their band; this girl was on the keyboard/guitar. She really didn't seem like she did much, and Anna and I speculated that they added her only for sex appeal, but whatever.
Head Automatica played next. And this, my friends, is where it got interesting. At this point, it's about eight thirty, and we're all getting antsy (to say the least) to hear 30StM. I didn't like Head Automatica at all, and it didn't help that it was during their set, the mosh pit formed right behind me. They played for-fucking-ever! Everyone was screaming for them to get off the stage, but they played about ten songs (The other bands thus far had done about four or five each). So, this is the point where I lose any nuance of space, and because I'm short, I could barely breathe, let alone see the stage. I honestly can't find the words to describe how absolutely horrible it is, to be stuck pressed up against people and not be able to breathe without craning your neck.
So, there's a drum intro to 30 StM, and they finally start to play at around ten. All hell broke loose at that point; the guy behind me was pretty much the only thing that stopped me from falling down. He was pretty tall, and every time I was about to fall over, he would grab me and hold me up.
I could only stand it for about five songs from 30StM, and then I started to feel faint. I yelled to the guy behind me that I had to get out, and he nodded and motioned that he was leaving too. We tried to move a little, but only hit the mosh pit, and then got pushed back into the crowd again. After that, I think I blacked out, because I don't remember actually getting out; all I know is we were at the back of the theatre, and the guy was putting water on my face and asking if I was all right.
I thanked my rescuer and headed up to the balcony to finish the rest of the show. Honestly, I enjoyed it more there; I could sit and watch without having to jump to see anything or try to stay upright.
Meeting the bands afterward was awesome! I only wish we could have met 30StM, but we got to talk to the first three that played. I'm off to upload pictures, and I'll put up a link to them here when I finish. xD
