I hate thinking of subject lines.

Just applied to Borders. Not entirely sure I'll even be called in for interview, but it was worth a shot ( Read more... )

Someone needs to light a fire under my ass to go write.

*flicker*flicker*

(I haven't written any fiction in over a year, so I have no room to lecture ... except to say that I am proof that the longer you put it off the harder it is.)

It's all pretty dreadful in hindsight. (And due to various computer crashes I was offline for a couple of years and no longer have the log-in information to edit/update my entry at fanfiction.net.)

(mostly Earth2 stories and if you poke around you'll find a seaQuest story that even I thought was bad when I wrote it and a Star Trek: Voyager story that's mere fluff.)

... and co-authored with Tressa there was

(a Buffy fanfic with an actual plot)

Borders NEEDS you. The question is whether you need them. Who are the magazines and editors in your area? You should be pitching. You have stories inside you.

(Thanks for the plug).

Never a problem with a story as excellent as yours, m'dear.
And because I have absolutely no professional background in anything pertaining to editing, we'll just have to see how it goes. I'm hoping to get the job based on my customer service experience.

Do you prefer sales? I think it's a great career and most of the reps I know make a fine living on their commissions. I ask because I wondered if you prefered writing...Curiosity about who you are and where your hopes lie.

Well, I actually am somewhat interested into going into Law. I know, it's out in left field, but I have a very large interest in money, and English just isn't going to get that for me. When I was younger, I considered veterinary science as well, but you know how those dreams die, haha.

David Tennant doesn't have to replace Eccelston in your heart. They are two very, VERY different people, and two very different Doctors. Tennant is a different kind of sexy. Tennant is also a crazy adolescent in a 30-year-old body; Eccelston is so much more mature. And I know that's hard to believe, but it's so true.

Ten licks things when he's trying to discover what they're made of. The hilarity/sexiness is striking.

He licks things? That can't be healthy. However, I am intrigued enough to give this Tenant fellow a chance. You know how it is: losing your first Doctor is like losing a dear friend.
