So today I've been working at TG for about 3 weeks. I have experienced a lot of diverse personalities in both patients and employees. Some days are perticularly hard and some are pretty easy. Today was a hard day. It started when a I answered the phone at work and it was doctor stating that she had been paged, but I couldn't understand her name so I asked the nurse next to me to handle the call because I'm new to the phone system and she replied very snotty bitch like "for heavens sakes you've got to be kidding me..." So then I punched her in the face. Oh wait that was in my dreams..hehehe. Well thing kept excalading through the night. I did however see some people I graduated from high school with and I'm taking care of one of the kids' dad. Crazy.
Then a patient snapped and went crazy and after almost decking me security stepped in to handle the situation. YIKES!!! But to ice the cake I need to chart my I's and O's in a patients chart but a doctor had it. So I politely asked for the sheet out of the chart. He then looked at me like he could not believe that a CNA would honestly ask an MD for a piece of paper from the chart he was looking at. He looked shocked that I would have that kind of audacity...well guess what fuck face...your an MD - so what!!! I'm a cna...I do more patient care than an MD would ever do. If you want my honest to God opinion on MD's it's that the only thing they are good at is referring poeple and prescribing meds. Thats it. I have more patient care hours under my CNA belt than most fucking MDs. It's amazing to me that they think they are so high and mighty.
Oh on a lighter note I saw chad christopherson. He was the doc for some of my patients. He was so much nicer than some of the others... Well thanks for letting me vent and send my anger into the void of live journal.
Good night.
