From the City of Brotherly Love
OMG. I'm in Philadelphia for a week, for a work conference, and this is the first time I've been on the internet for personal reasons, since Saturday evening. It's been a non-stop whirl of information, learning, eating and drinking, and by the time I get back to my hotel room at 10 PM or later, the last thing I want to do is look at my computer again. And of course my body keeps saying "but but but it's only 7 PM! Waaaay too early to go to bed!" But 7AM is going to come around and then my body will grump, "but it's only 4 AM, WTF are you thinking, woman!?!!?" and yeah. Coffee, coffee, coffee. But my new colleagues (this is the first time I've met most of them in person), are so awesome, it's like one big, geeky family. ♥
Tomorrow we are taking the afternoon off and getting a private history tour of Philly, so I am looking forward to that, even though it's pretty damn cold outside. No white stuff though (knock on wood) so I am a happy camper.

I just posted my first rec on stargateficrec! I nabbed the category "Holiday" and of course my recs will be all S/J all the time. Because someone needs to counteract the slashthat's how I roll. :D
I have a couple recs that I wanted to make, but where I could only find using Wayback Machine. Anyone know if it's cool to link to archived fics like that on the comm? Just wondering, I don't have to use those recs.
