Happy Yom HaAtzmehoot!
Today was the big celebration of Israel's independence!
It's like the 4th of July here, only a little bit cooler.
You are free to carry whatever alcoholic beverage pleases you through the streets, however, people do not vomit all over you. Instead, you get sprayed with cans of foam that read: "Spray Snow. Legal."
It's a lie though, the spray snow is completely illegal the police just don't care.
Stav is, naturally off on a trip, so I went out with his little sis, her husband and his italian friend. I drank two stellas, some jack daniels, and also managed to consume an entire watermelon flavored rum drink. It was truely the most disgusting thing I've ever had.
Then I blew 20 shekels on a light up toy because of a very sharp business man. He was probably about 10 years old. But it's also probably the best purchase I've ever made because it not only lights up and plays the theme song to Beverly Hills Cop, but it vibrates. I'd been thinking about buying a new vibrator anyway... X-D
(and I am in love with my boyfriend's sister. that's okay though. i am O.K. with that.)
