Eggs of Freeeeeeeeedooom!

I'm alone again.
And so I'm just eating like a terrible pig.
I'm even eating Nutella, which I'm allergic too, but it's so yummy.
*siiigh* Now my mouth itches.

I'm about to finish Ulpan. Very scary. The last six months of my life have been pretty structured by it and I'm looking at having at least a few months without anything to do education wise.
And I'm a waitress now. Sort of. A bad one, anyway. I don't think it will last.
I completely dread going there and I can never remember to give people forks and knives. And so far the tips have been shit. Someone tipped me 2 shekels on a 200 shekel bill. I almost ran out after him and threw a plate at his head.
And it's so frustrating to have to speak Hebrew. I sound like a 5 year old.
NO. I take it back. 5 year olds know how to speak Hebrew correctly, I just sound like an asshole who can just barely get her ideas across.
I was thinking about how annoyed I would be if I had a waitress who was like, "I'm sorry, I don't speak so good english. No, don't know if is bread, I to check. What, what you say? I to apologize, what is scrambled egg? No, NO breakfast after noon."

Bleh. Things could surely be worse. My biggest problem at the moment is that I'm actively choosing to eat a food I am allergic to. This is far better than having an angry Korean nerd shooting me in the face.

It's amazing though, people always ask me "jeez, aren't you scared to live here(there) full time? It's Israel! The Middle East!"

Well you know what? On an average day I could see twenty guys walking around with M16s that they are forced to carry and are well trained in using. They're not even always in uniform. Maybe they aren't even soldiers! Still, nothing like that has ever happened here. What the fuck is happening to the good ol' U.S. of A.?
Anyhow, I suppose this is Ahmadinejad's cue to start raining bombs on my little Nutella covered face, so I'll shut up now.

Oh, and "Free Range" is the english translation printed on most cartons of organic eggs here, but the literal translation from the printed Hebrew is "Eggs of Freedom".

Goodnight.
