the Molly Update
Okay, things that have been going on in my life:
First, I have been offered a part in The Rivals at the Jungle Theater in Uptown. I'll be playing my violin, and probably singing some. Don't get out the champagne yet, it's a small role, but the fact that it's at one of the premier theaters in Minneapolis doesn't hurt. The show will run Nov 3- Dec 23. Get your tickets now, beyotches!
Second, my sister Robin leaves for Iraq this month. And she finally fucking called. God. Can you imagine if she went off to war and was killed and I never got to tell her that I miss and love her? I wish she would call back again though. I didn't get to talk to her for very long. :(
Also, my sister Korrie got some good news that although she did get stuck with a $5,000 bill for the surgery she had to have, she got 100% hardship assistance for it. Whew! I was starting to worry myself sick about that, I can't imagine how she felt. We can focus on other things. That and she owes me $500. Now I don't feel like an ass asking for it back.
Okay, I know I have been severely lacking in my attention to livejournal. Yes I still love livejournal. But here's the thing; there are people on myspace that do not have a livejournal. People I love and miss. People I worked with, went to school together, even my family is on myspace. And what do I hear on livejournal people? Crickets. That's right, damn crickets. So livejournal was instrumental in providing my future mate....it gave me a source to drain my thoughts.... just by the fact that I've had it since 2001 is a big deal as far as blogs go; that's practically ancient.
But is it enough to make me keep coming around? That has yet to be seen. For now, if you ever miss me, just pop on over to myspace and have a gander. I am sure you will find something with which to amuse yourself.
