Office hour....my thanksgiving break will start when I leave this room. Yes. I like being a teacher so much.
So Dr. Drout offered me to let me use her research packet to do my survey in my Japanese class. That's exciting. If I could find an interesting result on this "small" research, I will definitely make this my Ph.d theme someday.
It's still snowing, and I'm still thinking how I drove last winter....2 hours and 30 minutes to C in the brizzard. I'm so scared to drive today, but I really want to see Harry Potter TONIGHT. It's kinda silly to go to Buffalo ONLY for Harry Potter and come back to Fred after the show. We don't want to watch it in Dunkirk theater.....
Last night was good. good to see Steve. He's moving to Brooklyn soon, so we might not see him anymore. so it's really good to see him just to say hi cuz it's too early to say "see you soon." He told me that Saxon Shore will play in Japan in Feb and I'm really excited for them. They have a lot of fans over there already. Plus, I guess Japan is a good marketing country for music. I hope they really can go and have a good show with Japanese kids.
kids.....yeah, I don't really like this word, but I realized I use "kids" a lot lately to make myself older. I look young, which is good. I can't complain about what I can't change. But sometimes it bothers me, especially when I teach. It really bothers me when "kids" are not respectful because I look young, and English is my second language, which definitely makes students think I'm "cute." sigh.....But anyways, I enjoy teaching, and 6 more lessons to teach this semester!!
I can't wait to hang out with the Simons again. Chika finally started saying my name. Kuniko always cook for me and Ryan. We hang out with married couples a lot lately. That's really wonderful to see how they share the life together. Kuniko and I talked about culture difference and language learning last night. Her stories are good lessons for me and Ryan.
I understand why Ryan always get some respect from others. I've never heard other people talk about him badly excpet for my ex-boyfriend. He works hard, he's very respectful, his boss loves him, he always gets promotion quickly, he's very focused.....everything he does, that's for me, that's for us, that's for our future.
yes, thanksgiving break. enjoy the break, young people!
